Global Japanese Language Contest - First Edition

Hone your Japanese Language skills and prepare for the JLPT exam this July by participating in our first Global Japanese Language Contest!
This special event is open to participants from around the world and will be held from June 1st to June 30th.
To encourage all learners on our platform, we’re offering a total prize pool of 100,000 JPY, which will be distributed among the top 5 winners.



Event Rules:
---------------
■ Points
・Play any practice game (selected range 'All') to accumulate points.
・By playing advanced level games, you can gain more points than the beginner level games.
・Point accumulation begins on June 1st at 00:00 (JST) and ends on June 30th at 23:00 (JST).
・Each day, only the first 5 attempted games will be counted. Points from any games played after the fifth will not be included.
・Points will decrease for playing the same games (within first 5 games). So, it is better to play different games.

■ Participants
・Anyone worldwide aged 18 or older can join this contest.
・Native Japanese participants (including foreigners who graduated from Japanese high school) are not eligible to win.
・Foreigners working as Japanese language teachers are also not eligible to win, as the contest aims to encourage new learners.

■ Selection of winners
・After June 30th, the top 5 scorers on the leaderboard will advance to the final round.
・The final round will be an online game session, where each participant must play several practice games to determine the final ranking.
・Final rankings (Champion to 5th place) will be based on the final round scores.
・If any of the top 5 cannot participate in the final round, they will be disqualified and replaced by the next highest-ranked participant (e.g., 6th place, 7th place, etc.).
・Winners must be able to verify their identity with a government-issued ID upon request.

■ Prize money
・The total prize money of 100,000 JPY will be distributed among the top 5 winners after the final round as follows:
　- 1st place: 50,000 JPY
　- 2nd place: 20,000 JPY
　- 3rd place: 10,000 JPY
　- 4th place: 10,000 JPY
　- 5th place: 10,000 JPY
・Winners must have a globally accepted online banking or money transfer account to receive the prize.

Tips:
--------
・Since only the first 5 attempted games each day are counted, choose your games wisely.
・Playing advanced-level games helps you accumulate more points.
・Do not quit games midway — the attempt will count, but you will earn zero points.

・Please, DO NOT CHEAT! The purpose of this competition is to motivate you learning Japanese and prepare for the JLPT exam. If your aim is just to climb the leaderboard, that will not be helpful in learning Japanese.
