Join our second Global Japanese Language Contest and compete with learners from around the world for exciting prizes — including a brand new iPhone 17!

📅 Contest Period:
November 1, 2025 (09:00 JST) – November 30, 2025 (23:00 JST)

🎯 Purpose:
To help learners around the world strengthen their Japanese and prepare for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) through fun, game-based learning on LifeArkにほんご platform.

🕹️ Contest Rules
・Join this contest from the ‘Join Competition’ button.
・Play any practice game (select range “All”) to earn points.
・Advanced level games give more points than beginner level ones.
・Points decrease progressively after exceeding the time threshold- the faster you finish a game, the more points you earn.
・Points accumulate from Nov 1 (09:00 JST) to Nov 30 (23:00 JST).
・Each day, only the first 5 games you play will count.
→ Games after the fifth will not earn points.
・Repeating the same game lowers your points, so try different games daily!
・You will get bonus points depending on your consecutive play days. Your game score will be almost doubled if you play continuously for 2 weeks, and so on.

👥 Participants
✅ Eligible:
・Anyone worldwide aged 16 or older.
🚫 Not eligible:
・Japanese passport holders
・Japanese middle/high school students and graduates.
・Japanese language teachers, as this contest is for learners.
・Global Japanese Language Contest- First Edition (held in June) winners (top 5) may join, but cannot advance to the final round.

🏁 Selection of Winners
After November 30:
・The Top 8 scorers on the leaderboard will advance to the Final Round.
・The Final Round will be an online live game session, where each finalist will play several practice games and quiz.
・The final rankings (1st–8th) will be based on Final Round scores.
・If a finalist cannot participate, they will be replaced by the next highest-ranked player (e.g., 9th → 8th).
・Winners must verify their identity using a government-issued ID.

💡 Tips for Success
・Only the score of the first 5 games each day counts — choose wisely!
・Play advanced-level games to earn higher points.
・Don’t quit a game midway — you’ll earn zero points, though the attempt is counted.
・Aim for consistency: play every day to earn bonus points. Your daily score will almost double if you play for 14 consecutive days.

⚠️ Important Notes
🚫 No cheating!
・The goal of this contest is to motivate learning and JLPT preparation, not just leaderboard climbing.
・Any suspicious activity may result in disqualification.
・If any user join the contest from multiple accounts, they will be banned.
・Before progressing to final round, there will be an interview of each contestants and if it is found that their Japanese skill does not match with their scores, then the contestant will not be eligible for final round.
